    Someone I know recently needed some quick cash, and took a rather nice, heavy 9k chain down to said establishment to cash in. He rang me and asked if the price they offered was fair. I offered him over double their offer and still got a good deal.

    I know a SS member who brought $1200 of gold last week for under$600bloody bugger!

    Now thats low balling!

    I once swapped a gold $100 note, actual gold value of about .005 oz or something (bron looked it up at the time)... for a sovereign ring PLUS $150 on top...

    I walked away barely able to stop myself from laughing... this was the same person who told me they weren't into bullion 'because you get ripped off'... oh the irony. :)
