Should there be a register of lowballers so the members dont have to waste their time with idiots hoping for a bargain ? Like a 3 strikes & it becomes public knowledge of whos trolling offering anything less than spot ? IMO its just not on . Spot is a bargain for any .999 & anyone offering less than that is a dickhead that should be named & shamed .
Hey that's more than the goldbuyer kiosks I was offered 35c a gram for sterling Crime converters are paying $9gm for 9k $24gm for 23k
I kinda like the lowballers, means I usually get the items when I offer spot. Also gotta keep things in perspective, some members are asking outrageous prices on some things. I agree on a premium on things that have to go through a dealer( dealers are providing a service, and they have to live) but anyone else asking more than spot is playing the same game as the lowballers.
Yup. There's plenty for everyone. The communists of USSR era said that it was a distribution problem. I work in a food factory and the waste is phenomenal. No-one really knows how much we waste because a lot of it is on a "don't tell anyone" basis. The food that we do donate provides enough food for a local charity for a month. Other waste includes the "We don't like using that equipment so we'll just accidentally pour it down the drain" we're talking a days work at double time literally down the drain. Then there's the "to hard" basket and the last 5 times the meal was to be made "something" went wrong Argentinians starved because the multi-nationals who owned the farms could make more money by selling the food grown in Argentina to Europe. Africans have a similar problem with their fish. But anyway there is a thread for derailing topics
Disagree - there is a premium for liquidity, and there can be a premium for privacy. There are some unrealistic prices being asked at times in the trading forums.
In a free market, people are permitted to make low offers... sellers are allowed to decline them... I really really really dislike it when people lowball (I consider it quite rude) ... but I also respect a persons right to make that offer.
