Greetings all, I swear on a stack of kookaburras I'm not a troll, I don't work for JPM, and I'm not selling anything. I really really really like silver coins, and to a much lesser extent if you twist my arm, silver bars. I was surfing around on the Perth mint (easily my fav!) website and found a link to this forum. I look forward to reading thoughts of others like me. Here's haiku to pretty much describe who I am: slaving for fiat and I don't mean the auto but prefer silver
Swear on my little Chin Chin... & so on Gotta Luv this Guy!!! You may Now proceed  Welcome to SS Lair... There are a bunch of helpful Pirates here; should you get lost yours way... Just ask around Chip
Wow, thanks for the warm welcomes everyone. After browsing around here some more I see now that this forum is quite Aussie-centric. I should have noticed this right away as the price charts at the top of the page are all in AUD but what can I say, as my computer is on there's a good chance I checked the price a few seconds before coming here so I must have just glanced over. Aussie-centric is good though; other than an impending financial apocalypse and a PC dominated culture that has gone from disturbing to totally absurd, things are boring here in the USA. Besides producing fantastic silver coins, these are my three favorite things about Australia: Cinema. I enjoy road movies and I also enjoy dystopian movies. The best dystopian road movies all seem to be Australian, although I didn't find Priscilla Queen of the Desert as dystopian as some other people seemed to. The Open. Going out to pubs after midnight in the dead of winter to watch live grand slam tennis has turned into a yearly tradition. It's pretty easy and lots of fun to get the inebriated all roused up and into a match... that is as long as an American is playing. Delvene Delaney!! Growing up in NYC, we were lucky to get The Paul Hogan Show on over the air broadcast TV, and this show seemed to go a long way in shaping my young impressionable mind. I expected life to be hilariously funny and filled with beautiful women. Well, it's turned out to be pretty funny at least. Cheers
