I went to my local dealer yesterday in Houston TX to buy some 1oz or 10oz bars... they had NONE. I did manage to get SE @ $1.00 over spot. :D (34, they were mostly culls)I purchased ALL of the SE they had. They had plenty US 90% and Mexican 90% coins (Mexican coins typically have the % of silver minted on them). I also asked about when they thought they might get some 10oz bars and they said that the next 50 + that they get are sold.

What they told me was they are selling as quickly as they get any silver 1oz's and good SE. I think we
will see some short term shortages of silver and I might have to buy something other than SE's or bars.

Silver is silver is silver in my experience. I love it all and own it all. I have bars, minted and poured, fractional silver, 40% to 92.5%, 999 coinage, sterling $10 coins etc etc

I reckon snapping up whatever you can put your paws on in this environment is fairly safe play!
