We would all like some photos of the box itself. Can you oblige - either here or on your site?

That's really good news to my ears db23!

I look forward to receiving this very special first coin from Choice Mint & first coin of an exceptional high relief design series.

The initial price for this max relief low mintage 3 oz silver coin was just way too good to pass up and everyone who ordered early must have suspected that the price might rise rapidly as orders would start to deplete supplies.

I just checked now....Choice Bullion is OUT OF STOCK on the Odin coin and The Coin Shoppe has only 2 Odins in stock. I don't know how many First Coin Co. has but I think that's it for supplies of this coin in North America.

wow! Kudos to DB for his quest to offer a quality product and not compromise! The coin is awesome! It's 3 oz! The box is essentially, almost hand carved? I mean, what's not to like about the product?? And you can still get it for 200.00! Wow. I wish money grew on trees, I'd buy coinshoppe's last 2!! :) rumor has it that the valkeri will be even better! If you can believe that!

When I try to buy the Odin coins from that dealer it only allows 10 pieces to be purchased and states "maximum available" not maximum 10 per customer....that's a big difference.

So that dealer may have 10 Odin coins and that's it....there's no way of knowing for sure either way.

not really, Choice previously said he will be out of stock only for the quantity selling at pre-order prices. He has more which will be re-listed sometime after the boxes arrived.

Hey barsenault, if you get any Odin coins with "lucky" serial numbers or serial numbers below 10 you can set your own high premiums when selling those coins.

Missing, I just can't wait to see it. Like you, I'm a huge fan of high relief. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I mean, Gatito hates high relief, drives him nuts. :D :D :D I happen to think it is the best thing since slice bread. hehehe. And since this is a first in a series. It is the first 'MAX high relief' for a coin, I'm all over it. Again, I've been told #2 should have better details...now that's saying something, if true. Kudos to db and team for implementing their vision.

At least you get cheaper price by paying earlier. Look around now, still in pre sale, but most dealers are selling it for US$199

Nowadays, pre order and paying way earlier seem to be the only way to get something in cheaper, although no guarantee. Some coins will drop in price after it comes to the market :D

What the view of taking 60-70% deposit as pre-order and ensure the price will up in seller webpage when sell otherwise refund? is that sound more reasonable?

Always inform ETA date BUT told it might delay due to experience. Is that good and acceptable in consumer eye?

NO COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION IS BAD.

First coin company has this incident all the time which I experience it. One of my friend get worst case from them which the coin delay more than 6 months and till her credit card expiry and cannot get refund at all.

I can assure you, I will be asking for my money back if I don't get my coins by the end of Nov. No question. Not because I can't wait. But because we were just assured the coins and package is done, and these should start shipping soon. I can put my money to use elsewhere.

What is the purpose of bashing first coin company? db updated 2-3 days ago that the coins are packaged and being shipped. What exactly is first coin company supposed to do when they don't yet have the coins?

+1 FirstCoin have been VERY good with communication over this and have sent regular emails out to people with updates on the status. They are a first class seller and I've never had any reason to be displeased with their level of service or their integrity.
