This is why I'm against having your PM stored in a Bank! When you are storing your bullion in Banks' deposit box or allocated (or unallocated) account you are STILL in the system! When it comes to PM you really want to be OUTSIDE the system that is the whole point of having PM.

On a side note, if even the Swiss cannot be trusted with your money now, I don't know if there are any institution left that are trustworthy.

$40m in physical gold, damn no wonder they didn't want to give it to him. How many times can they lend that out?

    Yep,
I had to hire a team of Swiss speaking lawyers to get it back.

Now I have to find a good safe airline to get it back to Hobart.

Oprah plane is busy for the next few days.

Greg Norman gave his to his new wife.

John Travolta is busy with his church.

Ben's helicopter wont hold the load.

This is what I will be using as new ballast for my boat to go & look for the remains of "THAT" boating accident.

IF YOU DON"T HOLD IT YOU DON"T OWN IT.

I think you can definitely own something you don't or can't hold. Ownership may be different to possession though.

If you can't hold it, you don't possess it.

You can own something you lend to someone or entrust to another, but you don't possess it in that it is not physically available to you. Possess comes from "potential to sit" so implying a physical holdability of the thing owned.

    Possess your metals.

I had better take delivery of that tonne of Toblerone's that I have stored in that vault in Zurich. Bastards have probably replaced them with Nestle with a thin Tobler plating.
