Just a quick question I want to put out there in case someone knows the answer and that is I'm presuming the Royal Silver Company no longer produce coins for sale or at least send them out once there've been paid for. How many are actually out there ? Was there an actual mintage or figures to support what was produced of the Cats, macaws etc ? Thank you in advance if you know the answer.
I think Dusty just wants to know the mintages for these coins. I would be interested too if anybody knows the answer.
Heading of this thread has nothing to do with "can of worms" - Would also be interested to know mintage figures.
Two posts, both stating paid for but undelivered coins, an existing topic from same user about that subject, no can of worms? Regardless thread heading or post. My "just want to know" was "any recent/new reason".
Brian McConnell 19 Jul (11 days ago) to me Sir: From you and others, I learned of Cheryl's death. I am saddened beyond what words can express. Cheryl and I spoke many times over the years, and she was a lovely person, very kind, and very committed to the service she provided her clients. My condolences to Russ and to their family. Sadly, I let her down on this last order. She passed without knowing if she would fulfill commitments or not, which is a burden of guilt on me that will be hard to ever erase. I'll explain to you what I explained to her since last year: her entire order is minted and boxed up waiting shipment. Every coin. HOWEVER, I cannot ship a single coin from Bolivia (and smuggling the coins out of the country is not a possibility). I have been attacked with a retroactive tax on Royal Silver Company that only applies to us. Our export license is revoked until we pay. The amount of the tax is not reasonable, nor within our possibility of paying, so we dispute it. I thought we had negotiated the amount down to something reasonable, so I told her in February to expect shipment in a week or two, but unfortunately the hope of paying a small amount and being able to ship coins again did not materialize. Your coins are minted and boxed. When the time comes that we can ship coins again, I will contact Cheryl's husband and get the names of her clients and arrange for delivery. We have not processed any new orders for over a year. On top of other problems, I suffered an embolism. Stress, overwork, blood clots, and old age. I am going to slowly respond to all the hundreds of angry Members and customers who wonder what happened to their investment in Royal Silver Company and why I didn't respond to emails. You are the first. Be assured your order will arrive as soon as we can fix the situation here in Bolivia. If I can offer some small consolation for the delay in the delivery of your order: Just think how rare our coins have become. Last week, I saw an Andean Cat on ebay for $75 plus shipping, so the price of our coins is going up. Thank you. Regards Brian McConnell CEO, Royal Silver Company On an earlier note Hi Cris, Are you able to tell me the mintages of each of your coins, Are you minting the Andean Cats, Macaws, Anancondas and Leoncito Monkey again this year (2013) I am looking forward to the next design.. That was said in, and the reason for, that existing topic I mentioned in my previous post (see also bullion baron site). Then why your telling me here, You Goose? Why you think I referenced it as "opening that can of worms", You Goose? Since that undelivered was brought up again in this topic, I asked if there were any new developments since. Not a repeat of what I already knew about the case, You Goose! About that 11 juli McConnell, in a business-style nutshell: Status order: "entire order is minted and boxed up waiting shipment. " Problem: Bolivian governments tax department lifted an amount tax that RSC is unable to pay. Given fact: RSC's export license has been revoked. Is it possible to verify this particular element somewhere? Maybe an import/export department contact? I searched abit, but didn't find one as of yet. I don't speak the language too so I might have overlooked it. Because, that is the only way to bust experienced cheaters, in case. A given fact repelled as not true by an official source. According to various articles I found, there seems to be, or have been, indeed some problems, dated 2012, regarding mine companies (Canadian ex) that withdraw due to public protest and State measures. But that proves nothing. An official declaration, does.
Dusty received some of his original allocation of coins and is endeavoring to establish mintage figures, I suspect in order to establish the potential market value of them. Piss off you self-aggrandiating tool.
Well those topics are for those disscisions and this one is about the mintage and your the only one I can see being off topic and yes I did ask how things had come along with people's coins but I'm pretty sure this user has started a few hundred other topics about other subjects so move along or stay on topic geneis.
Eureka moments that is exactly what I'm wondering How many rounds are out there is a good idea of future supply and demand.
1) Dusties openings post, and the followup, suggested that coins still weren't delivered. I asked if any news in this story since then. The more recent Maggie related post that was quoted, confirms this. 2) You answer here that he received a part of 'an original allocation'. If 'allocation' equals 'order', then he has still paid for rounds that are undelivered? Or, is that your play with words, "You Goose"? 3) Royal Silver Company still exists, and is still in business. The 4) "Piss <insert>yourself</insert> off you self-aggrandiating tool".
As the quotes in wa22a87's post shows: all the related questions were given no answers by the companies Customer Service. The closest to, was this one, on 29 march 2013: "Thank you for your note. We have shipped around 10,000 rounds. We cannot give the exact number at this time nor the number of each design. If you have any other questions, please feel free to write to us. Thank you." It's impossible that they don't know what they produced and shipped, so that 'cannot' must be a refusal for some reason.
I doubt if even Brian knows the mintage of the rounds and keeping track of things doesn't match his personality. You can't believe anything he says, so I expect the RSC rounds' mintages will stay one of life's mysteries.
There must be some official proof out there that their export license was revoked. Earlier today I tried to email [email protected] (email found in a chain links from official sites) But awhile later: A pity, because the only way to bust a smarter cheater is to be able to prove a clear contradiction between what he claims, and what is declared officially. Maybe there are other contacts to verify this export licence revocation.
