Maybe welfare should provide food and housing rather than cash payments.

It's a novel thought- but how about them getting a job? We have families here on welfare who've been on for generations.

You hit the nail on the head! The problem with common sense though, is that it’s not all that common :D

That would be ideal, the issue I think is that multi generational unemployed generally don’t make good employees. If you owned a business and wanted your business to continue to exist you would generally not look to that demographic when looking for staff, especially in a small business. If parents have no work ethic and they live on welfare their kids don’t stand a chance, it’s such a betrayal of children by their parents that leaves their offspring with very little way to make anything of their lives when they are taught from the beginning that the normal way to live is to be given money by the state.

So i suspect a lot more to this story than meets the eye.
First off if the guy wants to see a prostitute then i have no problem with it even if he is a sex offender.
The opposition is just using this to try and get some publicity.
The "SEX OFFENDER" tag is one of the worst out there BUT as i mentioned the other day here you should not just seethe tag and assume the person is scum.
As i mentioned earlier over here in NZ a 16 year old is legal for sex, BUT if you pay that 16 year old for sex then you can be convicted and giving the horrible tag of "sex offender"
I am not sure if anyone here cares why this guy got his tag but here is a little bit more info.

And there you just nailed it Ag bullet.

Throughout history it has always been that the most power hungry and psycopathic people in the game of politics so often cloak their deceit beneath a construct of virtue as “champions of the Poor”. And the ones that do nothing but proclaim their agenda as one of love and virtue the loudest such as the modern Democrats, the Australian Greens and of course their media arms such as CNN and the Australian ABC are the ones that in reality are the most deeply invested in keeping people poor, broke and dependant.

It serves the Democrats and the Greens and other radical left wing parties perfectly well to keep their constituents broke, desperate and unhealthy and struggling because this means that they can never throw off the yoke of poverty and they will be permanent voting mules that will never need a dollar of campaign money spent on them, all they need is to be constantly told that the other side will take away their welfare.

If you want to see the greatest examples of the “wealth gap” then you only have to look at any Liberal controlled city in the USA or any socialist country throughout history to see the best examples - ultra wealthy politicians controlling the people living in tents pushing their belongings around in shopping trolleys and working very hard to keep them that way.

All the big government big spending leaders of America promise spending on both sides.
The Republicans are the new Democrats with the Spending Spree in America.
And after all the trash talking and talk of being fiscal conservatives they want more!
Who will they blame for that?
"It has to be the Democrats fault!" their blind followers will scream.

The Republicans may have taken over from the Democrats re spending but the Democrats want to spend even more on everyone in the Third World and withhold all spending from American citizens. The Democrat party no longer exists. They are now the "Third World Party".

The Republican party no longer exists you mean. The repubs are the new dems.
The dems are out of the closet socialists in every way, the repubs a step behind them. Both left of center in every way

I believe everyone wants to help the disadvantaged, the left wants to give them handouts, the right wants to give them the tools to let them help themselves. Everyone supports on the condition it doesn't cost them personally anything. Actively trying to keep the poor, poor not sure about that... although it looks like that, because the policies are so misguided and the rhetoric such bullshit. Anyway we are on a train now that doesn't look like it will gently pull into the next station.
