I live in the State of Washington, actually a transplant from California. This news was a bit disturbing to me as I was hopeing the police state would not follow me (good luck). I did come across this tidbit of info straight from one of the horses mouths though, one of HB1716's sponsers, a rep. here in WA. This explanation makes me feel a tad more corfortable. but still, this type of legislation most likely will open the door for more bad legislation and more boots on the necks of honest, hard working citizens, it usually does exactely that. I hope for our republics sake, that which is left, this explanation is truley all it is (going after stolen merchandise), but then again, I'm hard presses to trust any politicians and bankers in liea of the mess they've have created. All of us here in the "land of the slave" as it has been coined have let their gaurd down for sure, let's hope that enough people are wakeing up now to turn this mess around. Thanks newspeak. Looking at the substitute bill (not the original), the wording has been updated to bought or received from an individual. So this is aimed at people selling gold - not buyers of gold. The original wording referenced transactions without being clear on whether it was for buying or selling. It's been cleaned up to cover only individual sellers of gold.
Sounds like the final plans are being drawn on what's left of our freedom, they are crossing their t's and dotting their i's. Just know that when the SHTF, there are still some good people in this country that care and won't go down easy, no matter what they try and make us out to be. I fear they are dismanteling our country from within and it will be taken, it's just a matter of time and most people here won't even see it comming.....sad, very sad.
