Did'nt have the best day today because it was 35 degrees in Melbourne today and I am still on the repetative jobs.

Had trouble getting motivated today and left at 3.30 to go put my paper work in for my new license at the post office.

I think I will feel much more motivated once I get paid tomorrow.

Thank god the weather will be cooler thru the rest of the week.

No point sticking around if you're going to sweating your ass off. Should get some of those industrial fans

I got the job because I have diesel mechanic qualifications but we really dont touch the diesel engines in the equipment much because they're so reliable.

The job is more about checking over the machines over for defects and fixing any other problems that arise making sure they are 100% safe to use when out on site.

Alot of the equipment is electric driven from batteries.

We do have a couple of industrial fans but they need to get a few more for us I reckon.

    Maybe you need chairs too.

No chairs required we are to busy for that........A bit more room in the workshop would be nice though its pretty tight at the moment.

Apparently they are going to extend the workshop soon because the business is getting bigger.

Might be a good thing to be part of an expanding business?

Had to leave early today (3.30) because of anxiety attack........Told boss I was'nt feeling well.

Not the best move because this week is one of their busiest getting equipment ready to hire for the new year.

Really need to get my head into gear and start realising I have a good paying job.

One good thing tho is I got paid today so now my credit card is payed off and I still have a good amount left in my bank account.

Working until 6pm everyday is going to be hard for me but I have to think about the dollars i'm getting payed for it.

Going back tomorrow for another round and they asked if i could work saturday morning too!

Sorry. Is was in reference to the last sentence of your post regarding if you could work Saturday morning as well.

It is a good idea for lots of reasons, not least of which is that it will aid your ability to leave early another time next week (if you need to) with less risk of being fired as a result.

If it was exciting and fun it probably wouldn't be called "work" and you probably would be paying someone else rather than them paying you :)

I remember one of my first jobs, assistant diesel mechanic for SCT, started 7am finished 8-9pm everyday, couldn't leave till the job was done. Couldn't do those hours if I wasn't living with mum, but I was 18 and it was min $1,500 a week clear. Done it for 6 months till I found the job I'm in now for 6 1/2 years. It was hard dirty work but it was enjoyable, mainly thanks to the people there, they taught me many life lessons, such as; it is vital you get on with your colleagues, take out sleeping and you spend more time with colleagues than your family

Yep, I was putting away $1k minimum most weeks, definitely helped kick start the future fund, now with the mortgage, bills and plans of starting a family I'm lucky to scrim together enough for a couple of ounces here and there, tell you what, that dip in silver and these lower petrol prices are definitely a blessing right about now

Because you wouldn't get out of bed for any less than double that. :)
