What does one have to do in order to sell gold in New Zealand? What am I doing wrong here? Is there a better venue for this online?
I've still got eight(8) 1oz Krugerrands which I am willing to sell at NZ spot price. Years vary between 1975 and 1982.
    Happy to sell in singles.
Located in the Top of the South Island.
Any advice or help is appreciated.

Could @Silverman99 help out? It's just posting from NZ might cost a lot.

It could be because for non 999 gold you will have to pay duty and GST to post them to Australia. Just my 2c.

Best bet would be to try a local dealer.

Rough calculations on the 5% import duty and 15% GST applicable. To import these coins to Australia. You're looking at over $4000 AUD in additional cost plus insurance and postage.

GST is 10% not 15%, surely, and from what I’ve read that only really applies if buying from a business with a turnover of 75k or more per annum. Correct me if I’m wrong. 5% seems extremely steep as an import cost. From my experience, it is nothing like that with larger purchases and all 8 together here would qualify.

A hiding to nothing in any case. No point buying across the ditch.

Isn’t there a flea market online like gumtree over there, has the name kiwi in the title?

I take it you are up at Nelson or Blenheim, something like that. Maybe it’s better to go to Wellington or Christchurch, do a ring around for best price and flog them at a dealer.

Good luck anyway. There must be a few stackers in NZ here.

Krugerrands are the right size to just slip into a wallet, no need to declare.
