    Twitter is not all bad.
How else can you talk directly to the POTUS and say what is ever on your mind to them ?

26 days ago there were 15 cases in the US. Trump stood at the podium and congratulated himself for the awesome job he had done where there were going to be "close to zero" cases the following week.

26 days later, we're at 215,000 cases with over 5000 dead. Don't get complacent because there's "only" been 23 deaths in Australia. There's been 10 deaths in my county here in Florida, including a 39yo with no pre-existing conditions.

If you have a family, buy life insurance now before they stop writing policies.

Friends in South America at the moment are sharing videos of open air cremations in Ecuador literally in street intersections because they're utterly overwhelmed by this, even though there's only been 98 "official" deaths.

In the USA, since 2017, 2% of deaths (55,672) are attributed to normal influenza and pneumonia.

5,000 deaths is less than 10% of the annual influenza death toll.

Yes but that number for influenza is for a whole year (12 months) and covid-19 has only been in the states for just over 1 month and its already over 5000, I believe by the end of April there could be 30,000 + deaths in the USA. I think the USA and us here in OZ are still on the starting line.

Exactly - compare the flu and COVID-19 after 12 months.

My local hospital is already 25% COVID-19 cases, and has been out of beds for 2 weeks.

One of my colleagues shares research with the heads of the WHO, he tells me that the people who have the virus spread to their lungs and cause severe symptoms and death are invariably chronically deficient in vitamin D, that makes sense because a lot of elderly people don't go out in the sun and don't take supplements. He implored me to take 4000 IU (4 standard capsules) every day to prevent spread to lungs if I am exposed.

He also explained why quinnine works as a treatment - He said that zinc is very effective at blocking the virus from bonding with human cells so a zinc supplement is also vital but that zinc is not absorbed well. It turns out that quinine isn't a cure in itself but what quinine does do very well is to transport zinc into the body.

Take it or leave it. I am just passing this on from a good source.

And herein lies the problem. A 'belief' that something 'might' happen.

Unfortunately the numbers don't support your belief. And many experts disagree with your belief.

Average age of COVID-19 death in Italy is 81, in Australia it's closer to 82. I suspect USA will be similar.

They'll use any excuse to pump those COVID-19 death numbers up to support their narrative and get more funding.

55,672 is the number of deaths attributed to influenza and pneumonia, not the influenza death toll. It encompass codes J09-J18, only J09-J11 of which is directly or presumably attributed to influenza. Codes J12-J18 are pneumonia due to other viruses/bacteria/fungal/non-infective causes.

Not sure what your point is? I did say "influenza and pneumonia", not "influenza death toll".

The point is you seem to be the one pumping up numbers to suit your narrative.

Oh and it's not 'might happen'. It's already happening in Italy and Spain.
