Look I don't know about all the politics, what I do know is a lot a Kurds are probably going to die,I guess I am just to simple to get it I do however understand you don't leave your mates/friends in the shit Here is a link to AUST abc news
The kurds got the short end of the stick. They're seeking for independence in a field of ruthless dictators. Had they checked their history books, they would have known the US is an ally of no one. The best they can hope for now is Iraq style autonomy if they cut a deal with putin and assad. Russia will never allow kurdish independence, a kurdish nation state will just be a fifth column for US and Israeli interests against everyone in the region.
DJT has put this mess in Russia's lap re the Kurds and Syria. The Kurds have done a deal with Assad, Russia is Syria's biggest sponsor plus Russia want to be friends with Turkey and sell them mil equip etc. Lets see how Putin manages to keep the peace now.
I'm now starting to think that Trump actually wants Russia to take control of Syria. The US is going to withdraw from Syria eventually, so maybe Russia and Turkey taking over Syria might be the best outcome as compared to Iran taking over like what happened in Iraq.
Doesn't make sense... Russia will never control Syria nor will they oppose Iran in anything that isn't a direct threat to their sovereignty. Russian interests in Syria are access to the Med, access to the oil and maintaining a buffer state (I.e propping up assadd to prevent a failed state like Libya and Afghanistan right on its border where the US and Saudi's can plant their terrorist cells.) Russia has no interest in what Syria and Iran do together. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, that's the Russian foreign policy maxim. They have seen Iraq fall, Afghanistan fall, Libya fall, but Syria is too close to home to have fail. Trust me, if there is a coup in Turkey, you will see Russian intervention just like in Ukraine. They don't like people pissing on their doorstep. They don't care if Iran and Syria piss elsewhere.
Easy, whatever he says, Assad and Erdogan will do. The hard part is getting the Kurds to the table for a deal. They will have to take significant losses before they realise disarmament is their only option. Putin nor Assadd care a damn if the turks wipe them out, in fact they'll probably throw a party.
Geopolitics never made sense. Regimes need an external enemy to retain power and to divert attention from their own domestic incompetencies and policy failures. If the Americans leave, they will find a new power to fight. If you look back at the past couple centuries, before America was in the middle east, they had already been fighting each other for centuries.
Sure but to suggest Trump plans anything beyond the colour of his tie, let alone giving up little Israel to Russia, is a long shot
Right now, Russia's primary interest in Syria boils down to one word: Tartus. Tartus 'Material-Technical Support Point' (Пункт материально-технического обеспечения), a warm-water naval port in the Mediterranean so the Black Sea fleet. Without Tartus, the NATO-aligned Turkey can keep the Black Sea fleet bottled up by denying access to the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits. With a warm-water homeport in the Mediterranean, the Black Sea fleet can effectively become a Mediterranean Fleet. That's power projection to hit threaten the NATO presence in Greece, Italy, the Suez canal and sea access to Northern Africa. Tartus is one of the major reason Russia props up Assad's regime; a means to an ends to keep Tartus defended, supplied and operational. All the hubbub about fighting Daeish/'Islamic State' is mostly maskirovka to conceal their participation in the Syrian Civil War.
Kazar lost Crimea to Russia Tartus remains with Russia Caspian Lake are partitions, missiles launched from the lake can hit Syria they are not call military power for nothing
According to Debka, Syrian forces have moved into several YPF controlled towns in the last 24 hours and are facing off Turkish forces. I guess that YPF should be withdrawing to east Syria border with Iraq. With Syrian forces occupying their western flank, the Kurds can just focus on defending against the Turks from the northern border.
Pres. Trumps chances have received another massive lift after this Project Veritas bombshell leak. CNN insider Cary Poarch secretly recorded his colleagues. Veritas Strikes Again: Exposes CNN's 'Anti-Trump Crusade', Zucker's 'Personal Vendetta' Against Trump. You can get more of this in the Zero Hedge article.
Trump knows we shouldnt be in the middle east yet we are still there. Makes perfect sense. Who will be held accountable for the fake wars? No one. Good job.
You see what happens when he tries to bring the soldiers home? You realize that he didn't put them there in the first place, and the military industrial complex is tough to fight against when all the establishment folks like the press, hollywood and entertainment media, leftists and RINOs oppose your every move? Who other than Trump is against going to war all over the place when it comes to politicians?
