    Hello to all

Does anyone know if its possible to get a bank bags or rolls with coins of various denominations from 5 cent to 2$ in a bags or rolls from a bank in Sidney Australia? I am talking about regular change rolls/bags and not about mint rolls.

I don't know if it applies to all states but there are banks like Westpac and Commonwealth Bank that have cash exchange machines while NAB has a quick change machine. You need to have a card from the bank or be a customer to use these though.

I think you misunderstood him. He is looking to get a counted back of change from somewhere (bank branch), not have a machine count what he has.

But I agree with you, those coin counting machines are awesome. I dumped a bucket of change in and got $2k credited to my account!

This. Ideally a bank you are a customer of, I have known fees to be charged for this where you are not a customer.

Nah these are different machines. You need a quick change card to use the NAB one while a customer bank card will suffice for the other banks' machines. They mostly have Armaguard rolls in stock although there is one branch I've seen that has different roll packaging similar to the plain ones the Mint occasionally distributes to dealers. Although I wouldn't mind knowing where to get Proseguer/Chubb rolls or those mint bags fresh from the Mint.

Also that must have been a big bucket of change to get 2K

Really? That's sweet. I haven't walked into a branch for probably 2 years. In fact, I think the last time was to dump the bucket of change in the machine!

Standard 9L bucket. Plenty of gold in there too, probably 50/50 gold coins to silver.
