Horse Trading ? Horse trading = wheeling & dealing / flipping Been flipping a few few different items " items" lately The next big item is a Gold Mine in the USA This is just a story of today's flip Bought this about 10 days ago for a steal Sold it today to a mate for cost But got these as a commission for flipping all his Porsche parts , I had up on ebay for him All Porsche parts going to 1 guy & deal being struck of fleebay Back to the gold mine $6.5M is the purchase price , $1.1B underground It will take 12-18 months to pull it all together & I have my Geologist looking into it And I have customers for the gold once it's out of the ground The mate who sourced the Opal Buddha is the same guy who has the lead on the goldmine Mate who bought the Buddha for cost is the same bloke who has a lead on a buyer for the goldmine And how do you build a hotrod ? You buy 1 part & build a car around it    The brakes I scored will be the beginning of my bike build It will be all black with gold highlights & gold anodised parts Going to paint the highlights in actual gold And up my other sleeve is a 1938 Citroen convertible , 1 of 6 left surviving of 138 made And after that is an Amelia Earhart vehicle
I do like it BUT It's to modern for me I want 1950's-60's no later He still has chrome on it It needs "more black" And less gold in certain areas But it's his bike in the end
You going to check the place out yourself? Is it way up north? Just be real careful they haven't salted the place, you want to bring in your own very independent drill team to confirm a few of their holes ar random. If there's only one local dull firm them make sure you get one in from somewhere else. I knew someone who got bit very bad buying a place here. Thought he had been very smart looking around for himself but the guy had been pretty artful in his seasoning of the ground.
I'm leaving all that up to my geologist It's in Nevada , owners are squilionaires already , don't need the $ really but they are in their 80's & just tidying up affairs
On CSI (TV Show) once they had a story about a guy loading small gold blobs/nuggets/shot into a shotgun shell and blasting it at the walls to give the impression that there was plenty of gold buried in the rock. That was funny, but someone got murdered, so it put a bit of a damper on the story...
