So I've been around a bit reading & learning. I got keen on this whole thing just recently whilst looking to diversify my portfolio. Can't believe I'd never thought of it sooner. Anyways I've gone a little nuts & ordered quite a bit. I got my first lot today which is 145 odd ounces of rounds. Eagles, Maples, and some Perth Mint Rabbits & Kookaburra's. The Perth mint stuff is the sexiest Few pics below... now just waiting for my second order of mostly smaller bars totalling another 140oz's. Short term goal is 500+ in small denominations. I'm an addict already Cheers, Mick!
Well done mick, you've gone nuts and nearly tripled my whole "I'll take it step-by-step" stash. Lucky bastard. Welcome.
Welcome Mickroy, easy on the silver or you might cause another dip in the market !! hehe welcome to the forums. Nice to have Brisbanites join in...
Hello from BDirect forum! I'm a Junk Silver Numismatic "junkie" myself. I hope to learn a few pointers from all you in the near future...Cheers~
Welcome mate. That's a very nice introductory step into the market. You're silver holdings are about on par with mine and I've been stacking a year now You could think about diversifying a little now, perhaps some simple bullion bars and maybe even a little gold would be good ideas. Thanks for sharing the piccies
Welcome mickroy, nice stash. +1 to Auspm's comments re bars - better bang for your buck when starting out. But each to their own. I think i have the same carpet as you. Yours looks much cleaner than our rug though - damn kids, dog, friends etc etc
Thanks for the warm welcome Yeah, as I mentioned in the initial post the bars are already on their way, and after that even larger bars & gold as on the cards! I've got quite a bit of spare cash left over after the sale of a property & couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it... but PM's have given me direction! Naphthalene, the carpet is the cheapest, nastiest stuff ever... designed to get dirty & worn as quick as possible so I lose my bond!
Welcome & cool blog................. Enjoy the ride. And also welcome to Mickroy....Nice stack....But best bang for buck is bullion...........Forget the sexy designs of coins.............
