must be one of the hardest google searches ever. I think I can probably conclude that on the side that inscribe EC:AGEI , etc, it's not about silver (AG) or any of that kind. But it's an abbreviation of: Ecce Agnus Dei qui tollis peccata mundi. I now tend to think that 1959 is not the year but maybe it's some bible text (sorry I am not christian so don't know any biblical stuff). But that coin is silver I think. Also, going on the line of biblical stuff, instead of 1959, if you read it as 59, 19, then google says something like "So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun" But remember I am not christian, so this is a big stretch of the simple man's mind. Tis very apt as Gold is coming back with a vengeance.
