Since you guys helped out so fast last time hoping for some help again! First up, not sure if these are coins or medals. They are large and approximately 78 and 73 grams. Thanks in advance!
I only recognize the t'ung pao in pics #4 and #5. Edit to remove wrong information: Sorry I was in a hurry to reply. Obviously pics #4/#5 are of the same coin. pics #4/#5: CH'IEN-LUNG, AD 1736-1795 http://www.calgarycoin.com/reference/china/china8.htm#chien lung I think the coins in pic #6 are from the 20th century, but I couldn't tell you exactly what they are. You could identify them by going through all the pictures in the Krause world coins catalog.
some are from Ming dynasty, some are Qing dynasty (with cursive Mongolianized Manchu script), some are issued by local government during early Republic era, and some are from private mint. The coins are not assorted or numbered, so it is very difficult to categorize. Nice to have them in private collection, though those coins are quite common and don't fetch much premium.
Thanks for the help so far guys! Are any of you able to point me in the right direction for the first two the exact weights are 78.5 grams and 74.15 I tried searching en.numista but couldn't find much. Era, dynasty, mint any help appreciated!
I believe the large ones are some sort of good luck charms. The Chinese characters on one of them match this: Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Chinese_coinage
Thanks mate, That information helped lead me to this site which has 1 of the medals listed! http://primaltrek.com/buddhist.html#hong_wu_tong_bao_charm_obverse
