    Just like to say hello to everyone hear.

    Just retired so have plenty of time to hunt my favourite sovereigns ( Ausie mints),look forward to reading more and perhaps adding something to the forum in the coming months.

    Ladybird, I have a contact from Ireland I'll get him to join,we'll have the set.....now there must be a joke if I could only remember....I used to collect rare Scottish provincial silver spoons,Elgin being the first town I bought.

    You're welcome. My father-in-law is a quasi Welshman (born Welsh, adopted and raised Yorkshireman). My favourite shirt is a Welsh Jersey (gift). Funny story about it. I was wearing it at a party and I was getting funny looks from a group of people. Then some guy came over and I was thinking "here we go" but he asked me what part of Wales I came from and I was all "WTF? Oh my shirt. LOL" I'm from Queensland fwiw

    yes plenty of rain still in Wales,but in the south east of England they have a big water shortage so early in the year.(hose pipe ban in force)

    I was very young at the time, but its filed in the memory banks under "good times" rather than bad.
