Just won a 2005 panda with COA on ebay for the amazing price of 10.50 all in with delivery. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220965524240?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 New seller, no previous transactions or any other items for sale so im doubtfull he will honour the transaction. Out of curiosity what is the current going rate for this coin? sitting here with fingers crossed lol
I would be suspicious... cheap price, zero rating and shipped from china. Red flags all the way. Good luck though, hope its genuine
for a tenner its worth a gamble. It was a 1 start no reserve auction so either ive got lucky or been scammed p.s. I know what your saying about China, but dont they all come from there one way or another lol
My guess is either you will never be shipped the coin, or its a fake. I really hope I am wrong on this one though, u never know you might just have scored a bargain. Let us know how it turns out in the end
The COA's can be faked just the same as the coin itself. The paper has a different consistency than the real ones, but they are known to exist.
The panda commemorative coins are of bullion quality but have proof prices and COAs. It's not the standard 2005 coin.
Do you really think anyone will deliver a silver Panda for 40% below melt (I don't)? The coin pictured has numismatic value, too. Best wishes, Peter Anthony http://www.pandacollector.com
I don't think he will send this coin to you but you have to pay anyway via PayPal, otherwise he will send unpaid item case notification, or just ask to cancel this transaction
Just a quick glance and the coin looks authentic although the seller may not be I hope the deal works out for you but if not ... $10 is a cheap learning experience
You've got to be kidding right? There is only one way this will end - you don't seriously think you'll get a legit coin out of this do you? If enough people think 'well it's only a tenner' the scammers get rich
As trew said, There's no way he will send this panda, when he can AT LEAST go to his local dealer and sell it for spot price Eventhough he's actually a legit seller, legit coin, but I don't think he's that stupid to send this panda
Someone who doesn't want to get a well deserved negative feedback on their ebay account would? Gold and silver gets sold below melt all the time. In this case however, if the coin is legit the seller may kill this account and start over with a new account since he doesn't have any feedback yet anyway.
Like I stated in my first post, for the price I won the auction I never really expect to see it. But for 10 its worth the gamble and if it doesnt show up ill just get the money back through paypal so its really a no loose situation. If it were 1000 gold coin I would be far more wary but its only a tenner.
HA! ooh, er sorry about that, i nearly choked. Don't count on paypal coming to your rescue. If you are going to give it a try then take the tenner from your cc through paypal. At least the cc company came to my assistance. Paypal were useless.
Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you try to rip someone off then you are more likely to get ripped yourself. It's called karma and it sees all.
