GST On Numismatics

    Hi,

    Does any know whether there are GST charged on numismatic coins on the Perth mint website? I know GST is not charged on bullion coins, I wonder if the same applies for numismatisc like proofs, coloured, etc.

    Yes. Pretty sure it's stated on there.

    Also, if you log into the website from the US (or a spoofed US IP address) you get USD pricing and the prices reflect the removal of GST.

    GST rules exclude precious metal coins that are not sold on a bullion-value basis from being GST exempt.

    Thanks GP. That means we can can claim the GST from TRS on our numis if we decided to go overseas :D
