I haven't heard or read this anywhere, but I expect it will be in the offing. Just spitballing, but my understanding of the situation is as follows: Three quarters of the population believe that climate change is taking place. One quarter don't. Of this three quarters, two thirds believe that it is mankind generated. One third believe that it is a natural cycle. We then have half a population that want to fix the problem and the other half believing that it is a left wing hoax. (I will be giving a lesson on fractions after the class.) This dichotomy has resulted with the general population taking their eyes off a larger problem which is pollution. Up until the turn of the century we were more concerned in keeping the land, sea and air clean. This also meant that there was a large element of carbon capture when limiting micro particle emissions. We now have a situation where we have thrown the baby out with the bath water. Moving on, we have a Greta inspired climate change strike by a very vocal teenage school population. A large number of these kids will be voting in the next five years! This number I believe will swing numbers back to the left. Regardless of political orientation, most governments will now pay lip service to this movement. Further, left wing governments and organisations will push for international recognition of this movement which I believe will result in a Nobel Prize.
