my pops is getting up in age and i guess he wants to start giving stuff away, he kicked down a bank roll of 90% kennedy halves and one of his jade rings.

he says theres a piggy bank for me with all 90% in it and some gold too.

the ring doesn't fit but i'd like to resize it a bling it around.

    Cool 97Guns,
I've been picking up the odd bargain in the mobile wealth (i.e. jewelry) arena lately. A ring like that, (if solid 9kt gold) can go from anywhere between $800-1500 retail these days.

That's nice and glad you get it while you can still say thanks :) and perhaps a story or two as well.

Yeah smart old timers let you enjoy or benefit from their will while they're alive.

Even better when they think of you with their PM's

    Nice work

All I can say is 'wow'

As well as being soft (and easily damaged), Jade, turquoise and opals contain a lot of water and tend to crack as they dry out. A big chunk like that in such good nick gets even more points.

YEH that is a pretty sexy ring, looks like one of those rings with special powers, something the green lantern would be using :D
