Occasional reports from doomsdayers saying a Great Depression is coming. If that was to happen, maybe SS could be a vehicle for members to trade pm's for essential supplies.
Maybe I should stack-up on canned food now and get ready for an avalanche of PM's from members!
Hey, I should have adapted this entepreneurial attitude 50 years ago!

No idea to be honest. I am thinking of getting it back on road and registered.

Will be saving a table at our next Sydneystackers monthly meet for a goods for silver/gold swap.
Anyone who has some interesting stuff they want to convert into bullion should start making a list.
There's going to be a lot of bling for trade on that day if anyone is interested.

I have some firearms, cuddly puppies and "used" female underware for trade. Can I assume that there will be some restrictions on what is allowable in order to keep the forum on the right side of the law?

Could I just quietly say that the thread created for trading goods for PM's is awesome, and thank you GP for making that possible!

Only one suggestion I have, would be to make that thread (not this) a "sticky" - that will hopefully keep that thread the "go to" place when looking to buy/sell, and make it easy to find.

Thinking out loud... might be a good idea to be able to delete posts for items that are sold and even cull off topic posts so it doesn't get to the point of going through 50+ pages of posts

Can no longer edit posts in this thread, would be great if you could do this again so you can say if something is sold with out posting a reply.
