Yes, I purchased this in 2010 for $25,000 and it's been in a safe every since. The market for banknotes collapsed few years back but is slowly making it's way back. Please try not to judge pre decimal banknote prices from eBay, they are usually over graded, restored and not natural.

Only a handful of examples known, this example one of the finest known, have receipts/pedigree of note, which can be provided to buyer.

Sheehan McFarlane Ten Pounds was issued with the prefix V over 3, which signifies that it came from the very first print run of Ten Pounds issued in 1940 for the new monarch George VI. Note is completely natural and crisp with full original colour. Historical records confirm that only seventeen Uncirculated Sheehan McFarlane First Prefix Ten Pounds are known is exist.
