Hi all am going to be in singapore in a couple of months and was wondering if anyone knows a good jewelry store there cbd preferably. I am thinking a bit of 22k trinkets are a nice souvenir idea. Will check out a coin shop as well if I can. thanks in advance
Country of ma-lion. Now adays 916 gold are quite par to 999 gold for jewelry. So people prefer 999 gold but the workmanship kills. Any well known reputable gold shops in the city. Poh Heng jewellery shop. I havent been there for a few years now. I got some things from them before. Happy holidays then. Ask people in the airport they are good for advice the shop keeper. Not just anyone ok. Can get extreme with crimes nowadays. People can get desperate. Watchs out.
Places have change. Imo cbd should be fine. Not some districts. Depend on where you are going. If you dont get rob , might get snatch; a lot of desperate people there nowaday. So be aware. Notice not many people not wearing jewellery ; why??? Jus a precaution ok.
thanks for that appreciate your advise have been to singapore a couple of times now but many years ago even then the more outlying areas were a bit dodgy I am always very careful when I travel and opportunity is the mother of most crime so I try very hard to not be that opportunity. cheers
