Just wondering has anyone used golddreams.de before, they seem to be the only website that have a gold coin I wish to buy. Thanks.
Never heard of them and I'm not going there to check them out. New members that suggest links to web pages or sites are treated with suspicion.
Why bother posting then.... House I'm looking for a 2014 1oz gold lunar horse. Living in Ireland I don't have access to a great deal of sites that ship to my country except the likes of coininvest and atkinsons bullion. Thanks
The Perth Mint lunar horse? Forum search doesn't return any hits for Golddreams but here's a few other dealers that members have used; http://www.goldline.co.uk/bullionCoins.page https://autrading.co.uk/home.php?cat=249 http://www.bullionuk.com/products/gold/coins/ http://www.bullionrock.com Probably seen them all before but if you're still having problems PM me and see if I can help you out from this side of the world
Thanks house for the list, I've checked them and continue to do so most days just in case they get sold one. I have the 1/2 1/4 1/10 1/20 in display box but the 1oz is hard to find.
If you can't get one over there, try these guys (they're very highly rated on the forum)- http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/pmluna14gco1/ AU$46.80 postage to Eire
that's because the 1oz is limited to 30,000 so people tend to buy and hold onto them, whereas apart from the 10kg every other gold piece is unlimited
Also try Chard's http://taxfreegold.co.uk/2014australiachineselunarcalendarhorse.php enquiries @ chards.co.uk
Thanks again house. Apmex have it in stock now but at 1730usd would I be mad?? I really want to finish my set :/
I would say yes but I'm not a fan of the design so easy to say! If it's to finish a set go for it, the premium will probably increase slightly once the Goat comes out in Sept. Or just get a gold clad version and buy low premium gold instead
$450 is way too high of a premium. Wait for $1-200 over spot. Might take six months to a year, but an opportunity will arise. When the horse came out last September, gold was higher and the likely purchase price was $1450-1500USD. When gold goes up to $1400 or higher, those buyers will be more likely to sell. Patience is a key when it comes to finishing a set at a reasonable price. Edit. Another thing to consider is to buy the Snake coin. There are several around and the price should still be reasonable. Odds are the Snake premium will increase and the Horse premium will decline. Later you can swap out with someone who really needs a snake coin. I don't know the reputation of Westgold and only check their site to track lunar prices, but a $150 premium and already in Europe beats a $450 premium and shipping from the US. Hopefully, another SSer is familiar with this company. Good luck. https://www.westgold.de/
Thanks again House and dccpa. I emailed "ninteno" asking about gold-dreams and westgold. I normally use coininvest or atkinsons bullion, this would be my largest gold purchase in one order to date and I want to ensure that what I get is the real thing but at the same time not pay the huge markup and delivery cost to apmex!
Check on gold.de it's a coin price comparison site and searches a lot of German dealers, very useful for trying to find a specific coin. Though doesn't list everyone.
I bought some Andorran 1oz silver coins off them last year: they took a week or so to arrive, if I recall, but no problems. And they were very cheap, for some reason. I seem to recall they were a dollar or so less each than maples or ASEs...
I sent the payment on Tuesday around midday. The total cost was 1382Eur for the horse and the 2 rand + delivery. Hope to get an email confirming receipt of payment tomorrow. I'll keep this updated in case anyone does a search for them or wants to place an order.
