    We all knew it was about oil...but I didn't know that Libya were trying to implement a gold standard. Is this the bigger picture for America's occupation of Libya? Was the economic threat greater than the cost of oil??

    Cost of oil doesn't worry the US anyway, all Oil trade is done in USD and the US can always just print more USD if Oil gets expensive!

    The gold dinar on the other hand... :eek:

    Anyway there's like 2-3 threads on this already and one had a youtube video so yeah.
