All the other metals explode up; even Silver inched up a bit.

But GOLD is unable to advance.

GSR rolls over today, with Silver outpacing gold significantly.

IF silver can't break above 17 USD/oz; then it is ALL OVER for gold.

    Watch out below.

This sound's like a more definite prediction for today. So you are saying that:

    * GSR today reflects silver increasing faster than gold

    * If silver stops before hitting US$17 then the gold price will collapse

    * In which case, " it is ALL OVER for gold", "watch out below", which presumably means a massive price crash with gold in free fall by the end of the day

Let's catch up later today to see what happened.

    Indeed.

As a relative newbie I wonder if it's just that I had rose-colored glasses on the past year or so, or whether there has been a marked deterioration in the quality of posts. It does seem a lot more adversarial and a lot less substance of late.

Of course it is far more adversarial now as the price of metals is stagnating/deteriorating and that was primarily what brought everyone together.
You just have to look at old threads from 2011 and see just how up each other we all were (would have to go to kitco to read me though).
Then you throw in the likes of Israel or Trump and without metals to drool about it is easy to get sucked into confrontational arguments that are not metal related.
I consider myself level headed and even I got the grumps talking about Israel or Trump (cant recall) and posted mmissinglinks name and location like a complete dickhead.
If metals had been up then we would not of been in conversation about S##T.

I've been here for a while now and can definitely say this forum is going down the toilet. People like Leon make it a joke, he should be banned for the large amount of repeating garbage posted. It seem admin doesn't care about this forum any more too.

If people want to read and write stupid predictions without any substance or credibility go to martin armstrong site.

I agree both of them guys were entertaining to say the least . Their biggest problem & what got them banned was they would lose it completely & start calling people names & throwing insults around . You need some sort of restraint even under duress on a family friendly forum both let it get the better of them .

I actually enjoy seeing leon1998's alternative views of the situation, and he seems to be getting it right more often than I am.

This is a joke post right? (...he should be banned from posting his opinion because you don't agree with him, ...If it ever got to that then, yes, the forum would be going down the toilet...)

We should only allow a member's post if it agrees with group consensus. Perhaps we should all vote on it? :)

And we should not allow criticism of forum dickheads, and instead make sanctimonious posts while cupping our balls.

How do you know he is getting it right? You seem to have been tracking the predictions, so how about showing the track record with all hits and misses, and we can then apologise to leon when it is shown how prescient he is?

The vote would have to be weighted by the windbag index I think.
