Future Australians need to be protected from the stupidity, selfishness and greed of this generation.

So contrary to your previous assertion you are actually happy for me to dictate what you can do with your property and person and you are happy to dictate to me.

Precisely. But either you are able to sufficiently direct the actions of the government to commit to forcibly apply your preferences on others or you are not. You are selfish and so focussed on what you think is right that you are willing to go into your neighbours house and steal from their wallet or force them to not freely trade their property in whichever way makes them the happiest. For all your caring and compassion for others and your kids you are willing to violate their freedoms and property even if they aren't attacking yours. Why? Because you believe you know better than everyone else. You think you know what really makes others happy or that you don't actually care and are willing to force them to abide by your beliefs anyway.

    Edit: Grammar fix.

You have the LUCK to have been born here in the very last era of our wealth. How you justify what we're doing to future Australians, only you can answer.

....."Why? Because you believe you know better than everyone else.".....I do know better than the deluded people driving this while telling everyone everything is cool. It is vested interest that will always, always prevail. Shame on you for your twisted views. Hey, what if it were your grand parents that raped Australia's wealth and left you no options, no future, no advantage having been born Australian? You'd curse them wouldn't you?

What my grandparents did or didn't do with their property is not my concern. I can choose to do something different with what circumstances I have to work with. The natural state of man is nothing like what we enjoy in this country precisely because my grandparents largely had the freedom to do what they wanted with their person, life and property. I have no "right" to an inheritence or to force my parents to leave me one from their estate, but by the same token I would like to leave an inheritance for my kids. Similarly neither my parents nor I have no right to damage my or other people's property and we are both free to live our lives how we see fit.

That you are more than willing to initiate aggression against others around you to force others to comply to your whims marks you as a socialist. It is ironic that it all comes down to you bullying others for your beliefs and yet you label others as "selfish".

"willing to initiate aggression against others" Wow. When did I do that? Your argument is getting too hard to follow. I didn't mention inheritance. I'm talking about opportunity in the country you're born in. I think you're a confused philosopher or something. Weird.

    1. You said you were willing to initiate aggression when you said that you are happy to dictate to others about what they can or cannot do. Stopping someone doing what they wanted to do freely is initiating force.
    2. You inherit opportunities as well as stuff. I was trying to dumb it down a bit for you.
    3. It's pretty basic. Go back to the initial questions in post #57 and start again.

    Edit: Grammar again.

It's best to ignore his well known "holier than thou" attitude. He is a legend in his own mind.

You've got that back to front (as usual). Reset is the one who knows that he can dictate what you should do with your person, life and property better than you do. I'm willing to leave the choices to you. How is that possibly "holier than thou"?

We are a democracy where people vote for the biggest piece of the pie and the government targets the idiot voters with such policy. It was always going to end in tears. Tears for our own kids that is. Not a very smart nation huh? Australia, land of the dumbest people on the planet. We had everything to lose, and that's exactly what's going to happen. We're going to lose the whole lot.

BS you are the most prolific poster in most threads just accept your not correct 100% of the time .You have answered all the worlds problems at one time or another ...you should be the head of the united nations or prime minister :p: Its good to have an opinion but when you believe your own bullshit & push it down everyones throat it looks as if your a bit dillusional . IMO

So now you are attacking the Government because it doesn't adequately force your opinions onto others (and presumably onto yourself)? Perhaps you should attack the government because it forces any opinions at all.

Okay. Let's take a breath. Do you agree with business, housing, workers, farm land, mining all free to come and go and be sold to foreign interests? Is it open slather and if not why not?

I believe every valid property owner should be free to trade their property to whoever they see fit at whatever price they see fit. If you consider that to be "open slather" (whatever that really means), then it is.

What about the others? People can come here and work for agreed wages? You're cherry picking what's on sale and what's not. Given how staunch you are, is that okay to have such a view?
