Gilded pandas

    I see a few silver pandas gilded. Whats is the Premium?
    For example 2009 panda 1 oz silver 90 Aus (yennus)
    2009 gilded panda?
    Im new collecting pandas.

    Sorry don't know enough about them. As far as I am aware they are not done at the mint. Can anyone add to this?

    Yeah, thanks Petercamperdown, I have similar feelings. I don't know enough about the gilded Pandas.

    ^ agree with both of the above. I think they are coin show/expo specials but I don't see the point of buying them.

    only few people collecting them in order to fill up their panda collection, those people who purchase gilded panda must be SUPER panda fans, not only for stacker area, they are really collectors
