Hello all, This thread is for anyone who is looking for a bargain silver purchase under spot... Selling some rough/tarnished silver coins, all one oz, that suffered during house moves and long term storage. 11 x 1 oz 2011 Libertads, no capsule.or slip, bit tarnished but no scratches chips or other damage. 3 x 1 oz 2011 Kooks , one has no case a little tarniahed, the other coins are perfect but cracked cases. 1 x 1 oz 2011 Phillharmonic, fell out of plastic slip and a little tarnished. 1 x 1 oz Liberty Leaf Cannabis coin, never had a case for it and looking aged and tarnished. 16 ounces total, can take it all for $300+postage at cost Bitcoin preferred but Bank Transfer and PayPal ok. Not keen on this "post first" caper but willing to negotiate to offload the lot Photos via email on request

Why sell for 300 when you would get $340 from a bullion dealer??? Hope this ends well for the prospective buyers
Dont let new members set the terms.... Post first to a trusted member or piss off i say... I love libertads but rules are rules and prinicples are principles... I would suggest our well known members be careful...
Yep, three red flags here.... - bullion cheaper than a dealer would pay, - next to zero feedback, and - won't post first to anybody. Tread with caution on this one. May be a genuine sale but when flags are thrown err on the side of caution and walk away if you don't get the assurance you want. BM.
I am in Darwin so my only option is a pawn shop or on here, Gumtree or Facebook marketplace.. Thought I would sell here to my fellow stackers first but all good if there is no trust. Have sold a few lots already so I suppose wait for the positive feedback to come from them or it can go on gumtree, fb marketplace. Either way much better than the pawn shops will offer. Cheers

You have only 1 feedback and its negative.... You may joined in 2011 but you are still a new member to us as nobody remembers you and you have been completely in active... One must build trust and as a community we have nothing without trust... If you wont post first as a new member personally i would like it if you pissed off but i can only speak for myself, if someone else wants to risk it well thats up to them but i see RED FLAGS here... You dont want to take the risk with a trusted member? Atleast there is good reason to trust them... Unlike you....!
I find your responses quite harsh and offensive, I thought this community was nicer than this. All he did was put up something for sale, if you don't want to take the risk...don't buy, if you want to warn others then that is fair enough too, but to start telling people to "piss off" is just going too far.
Fair enough but in my original post i didn't actually tell him to piss off, he choose to take it that way, he had many members first tell him and warn others kindly, I am a bit harsh, some people don't like that but I stick to my guns and believe everyone who comes here should first build up some credibility before outright refusing to post first, which is the most sensible way to deal with a new seller on Stackers.....
I also find you to occasionally come across as harsh and you seem to act as board moderator or police at times. I am sure that members of Stackers are smart enough to make decisions for themselves. Frankly you put me off indulging in the forum more.

I have an opinion you either agree with it or you don't nothing personal, i believe it is very important for us to all be diligent together... Its an opinion so its rather easy to get over it. Two comments from me and your rattled about stackers? I doubt that, lots of great guys on here and i think your exaggerating there but your definitely right about people making their own decisions, i just wouldn't like to see this become a norm, once you open the door its hard to close it again and it is that fear that drives me... I'm a loyalist to the core and I've always been like that, two times i spoke my mind and two times shot down. Guess its not appreciated here on Stackers... Life goes on Good luck guys
