Apologies I know Im getting boring now but I have just found these in my hoch poch collection.

Is it best to sell them through a gold bullion dealer, quite like the ring though its heavy but has been worn. The pendant never has didn't even know it was there.

Nope! You'll be lucky if you can find a bullion dealer who will offer you for 'spot' metal value.

For the 1998 1/4oz, a dealer would probably offer you $380 (or below) if you thinks you're an easy mark.

Instead, post this on the forum's Trading Post. (Scroll down from the index) Fractional gold coins (as in under 1-oz) and coin jewelery get excellent prices on here.

Here, I can see someone offering you $450 as a starting price for just the coin.

You need to find the hallmarks on the bezel if you want people to pay for it as gold of any karat-age.

to add to what Roswell wrote, you need more detailed pictures to get more than spot.

    1. clear picture of hallmarks and the face of the coin ring and the front of the pendant.
    2. the ring if you see the 3rd picture seems to have some horizontal bars inside the ring, which isn't normal I think, so I would have more pictures of that.
    3. the size of the ring, if you dont have ring sizer, at least the inside diameter of the ring measured with a ruler, and for better reference place a ten cent coin or another coin inside so people can visualize the size.

    good luck with sale.
