So I was thinking, what better way to stack than to own a share of an area known for it's high potential gold, copper & silver reserves ? Any members here interested in forming a syndicate ? FOR SALE: Tenement Package north of Yalgoo, Western Australia. An opportunity exists for a fast acting investor to acquire this prospective package of four adjoining leases, two Mining Leases and two Prospecting Leases, held by current holder for 20 years, 20kms north of Yalgoo in Western Australia. There has been no modern exploration conducted and no drilling of prospective targets. The upside potential now belongs to the next holder. Some details from the current holder. Historic mine (St Michael's) on one lease not worked since owners went to fight in WW1, has a 3 stamp battery. http://miningtenements.com/doc/Yalgoo_Leases_FOR_SALE_August_2010.pdf
Would need alot more information - but I look at any investment and weigh up the pro's and cons. If you dig up more info I'm happy to look.
Cheers, I may give the guy a call later today. Also one of my colleagues owns a lease very close to the patch. I will talk to him as well.
Have an industry expert working on it as I write. Consider $1k share lot's to whatever value is negotiated with the seller. There are significant silver reserves in the area. Golden Grove produced $50m worth last year. Not to mention Gold & Copper.
Want to prospect, buy a high quality metal detector for $5k and off you go into the goldfields. I've rented them before, never found gold but have found nice railway spikes
where can you hire a metal detector and prospect in NSW? this Yalgoo is true blue bush! I've just found where it is on google earth
In late 70's I used to do a fair bit of metal Detecting, Found about 12 oz over two years, Bwaaaah - I sold or Traded it at less than $200 an ounce. Here a photo scan of a couple of bits of speciman gold - Gold doesn't show up real well, a lot of the brown area was gold with a coating of Iron Oxide.
Impressive! I always wanted to gold prospect via metal detecting especially when exploring the outback in the early 90's but didn't have the means or knowledge where to prospect? back then. Any ideas of where you can today?
Please keep it coming guys. Lot's of interest from forum members already. Could be a very exciting project.
I've prospected with a metal detector in the goldfields of Victoria. Dunolly, out of Bendigo, Heathcote. Its ok if you like to wander around in the bush, ended up getting a darn sore shoulder after a while from the repetitive sweeping motion of using the machine.
What would be the goal of a syndicate formed here to invest in it - would we wander up there with metal detectors on holidays or would we be making a serious crack at exploration and developing any finds? or both
