Fair comment. Justice Hayne only gave the banks a wee feather tap.
Always a good thing to do, but not always as simple as that. If true many big companies would have folded in 2008/09. Instead government and central banks decided the market have no say and propped up rotten companies. People keep forgetting we live in a socialist system today.
If tomorrow everyone decided to stop their super going into banks, the next day government would make it mandatory.
Tried that with my bank (Bank Australia) who have been buying tree plantations and paying for green advertising. I asked them to stick to banking and leave the greeny stuff to people like greenpeace. Explained that my bank doing this green stuff is actually a tax, and if I wanted to support green issues I would donate to these green organisations.
Their response was to put up our banking fees and grow more trees.
Here is a modern day example of an openly gay man being attacked. Those darn Christians..um.. I mean.. well forget it. Nothing to see here.
Is Cheika serious on his comments ?! irreplaceable?! yeah, right!
Shameful yep the hypocrites make you sick,we have plenty of them on here
If you don't agree with them they get very narsty very quick because they don't have the intellect or maturity to do anything else but scream black and blue that they are morally superior which they are clearly not shown by their small minded behaviour
By their child like rants they reveal who they really are,sad and shallow human beings
Lefty big mouth hypocrites, who needs them
The Book of John - John 1 Chapter 5 verse 19
We know that we are of God,and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.
Lets see how Fox and 10 go with viewers. I suspect the average form of the Wallabies in recent years may impact the TV viewer numbers and to lesser extent the Folau saga. Lucky for RA, the RWC is in a viewer friendly time zone for Aust.
Folau’s prospects bolstered by landmark religious freedom ruling in Britain
This is all just the religious right trying to get even over the gay marriage thing.
How about a mail survey about this topic too?
How bloody sexist! Why not a femail survey?
We don't need a survey to see if we have the right to read, quote or state Bible text, or our religious beliefs.
The Australian Constitution
116 Commonwealth not to legislate in respect of religion
The Commonwealth shall not make any law for establishing any religion,
or for imposing any religious observance, or for prohibiting the free
exercise of any religion, and no religious test shall be required as a
qualification for any office or public trust under the Commonwealth.
Morrison and his Right-wingers are creating a bridge to oppression.
If they were for freedom they'd rescind 18c.
So Folau needs $10M to fight with RA, not $3M
RA is the Commonwealth?
I am completely amazed how some people get so upset by The Bible just being quoted here or there,if you don't believe in it why would you worry about it,just move on nothing to see here right
Getting your knickers in a twist about it seems unnecessary and a waste of your time to me
The Book of John Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus said to him,I am the way,the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me
This is inaccurate and is pretty much trolling.
The Folau case is simply a freedom of speech issue.
Any person has the right to say whatever he wants, especially in a private capacity - this law should apply equally to Lefties, Conservatives, Gays, Christians, Hindus, Muslims, and Rugby players, etc.
At the moment it appears only the Lefties and their allies have this right.
Somebody said: "The Book of John Chapter 14 verse 6
Jesus said to him,I am the way,the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me "
You need to 'GET A LIFE FELLA'. _JOHNLGALT. said that.
p.s. Please quote me on that.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles.
Then the victory is yours.
It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
Well the courts will work that out won't they?
At the moment it looks a lot like a contractual dispute.
I think you have spotted the problem there @yennus . Well spotted there @yennus _JOHNLGALT.
