As the title states, this will be our final meet for 2014 and it will be held in the private function room. So put this date in your diary as we have a big night planned As always, all stackers and their partner/friends are welcome. If attending for the first time, please send me a pm for details. I've had a request to bring back "The Aussie Round 50's Raffle" for our final meet. For those that aren't familiar with the round 50's raffle it's simply a raffle that will cost you a round 50 per ticket. If we sell 20 tickets on the night, prizes pool will be as follows: 1st - 9 fifties 2nd - 6 fifties 3rd - 3 fifties 4th - 1 fifty 5th - 1 fifty If you don't have any round 50's , I will have some available on the night for sale. Also, please send me a pm if you would like to auction any items on the night (maximum of three items/lots per person) I'll prepare an auction schedule the Friday before the meet. Will be bringing along the XRF machine......so if you would like to verify a particular piece bring it along. Alternatively if your looking for some extra Christmas cash, bring along your unwanted gold or silver.
Unfortunately my work schedule earlier this year changed so I haven't been able to come to any meets. Hopefully one of them falls on my annual leave if I'm lucky.
Have received positive feedback for our final meet. The auction list is growing nicely and I'm sure there will be some great bargains on offer once again. For members that haven't got back to me yet, if you could be kind enough to let me know by the 28th that would be appreciated. As the venue require our final numbers by the 29th, so they can set up the private function room with adequate seating. Also the venue is putting on an extra staff member for our final meet, so really need a definite commitment from members who say their attending.
if someone has a couple Austrian 4 ducats they might be interested in letting go cheap at the meet I'd be interested, can do AG swap (bullion or perth looking coins of various sorts) out or cash or a combination of the two. Also, interested in some Byzantine gold, English nobles or Islamic gold coins but you'll have to pm me first with what you have so I can do some research as I'm no expert on these.

Don't suppose someone from here bought a 10oz and 2oz 1994 kook from AEJ in the city the other day? if they did I'd be interested in buying it trading it off you come the meet.
We have 12 attending so far. For those members that haven't got back to me yet, If attending, please let me know by Friday the latest as I need to let the venue know our final numbers. As mentioned in the opening post, I will be bringing along the XRF, so if you would like anything tested (no body parts) bring them along.
