    Could it be that they will be the best medium of exchange when the SHTF because they are legal tender?????

    No, but because they are legal tender not bullion, as an asset, they are only worth 50 cents. This means that say 10,000 coins valued at $10 each is an asset of $100,000, but only sits on your asset register as $5,000 cash in the case of bankrupcy, pension or divorce. The coin only has additional value when sold.

    Because, when I purchased a 1oz Maple on Ebay the seller gave me 2 x 50cent pieces for free! ;) :D

    Ya never get deals like that now! :p :D
