Id like to keep ebay as P2P as possible to be honest.. i don't like "intermediaries" and feel that P2P is one of the core principles... I believe ebay law-breakers should be subject to the same law as those operating outside ebay.. if this is a crime then its like no other to me.. skip ebay reports.. police should be over this -- why don't Perth Mint have a staff member on top of this?.. I mean is it legal to Fake legal tender or not? backward
Selling fake Lunar coins now , listed as real. Changed the real 1 Dollar to 1 ounce sneaky sneaky. Has fake kooks and elephants too. Edit : Damn , Goats too http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Austra...949?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20f840e4ed
This absolutely sh**s me. It's no different to selling fake fiat. I don't blame ebay, I blame the law enforcement for allowing ebay and the sellers to get away with it. People are put to death in China if they counterfeit large sums of money.
My favourite: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331353984223?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I asked if this was legit, and unsurprisingly no response... If its too good to be true, it usually is. I surprised the mints don't take a firmer stance on this, but I guess it's like pushing S#5t uphill
My guess is nothing will be done unless it involves a large number of people or a large amount of money.
