Hello As I have not had any transactions with any person on this forum or otherwise I would like to ask what the best/most secure places are to conduct a F2F transaction and also what are the best steps to take to identify genuine PM as opposed to fake? Also if there is anything else I should know please let me know. Kind Regards

^^^+1 always use a bank foyer. Once I've checked the metal, I get them to deposit the cash into the account so no messing about with large sums of cash/fake, the teller does all that. Little bit over the top but a throwaway phone number and being wary and observant when you leave is recommended. If the person is reputable on the forum a coffee is fine but don't assume anything Check this link for info on detecting fakes.
That definitely sounds like the safest option and also convenient as you get to deposit your money immediately. Cameras being there would also deter dodgy people somewhat but I guess one always needs to be vigilant, no matter how safe/genuine it feels. Thanks for the responses.
