    haha yeah. i said asx 4500. so we are both right :p .

    Judging by how Asia performed today, might see another 80-100 points drop in the DJIA. 12000 level doesn't seem to be holding.

    I sold all my ARD and GDO yesterday. Thanks Hobo and tthace for the tips. Am going to put a little of the profit to top up on CGT. Am a complete rookie when it comes down it.

    Thanks all for comments, been a plethora of information. Interesting to see how this sentiment plays out into the wider market over the next 1 week and maybe 4 weeks.

    Powder is dry, buys in place and holding metal.

    The announcment is in the Conquest thread - Im excited - crap timing but could be a good future

    What are peoples thoughts on precious metals shares at the moment? particularly as it looks like gold and silver may have found their bottom? Currently out but am thinking of jumping back into some CGT, AYN, EVG and AZH.

    Next weekend depending on how this week goes I am either going all in for low spot or 1/2 in if not and rest for GFC2... just FYI
