went to an antique fair today and saw a 2008 1oz silver mexican libertad.$16 price tag was an instant giveaway but asked seller if it is real silver and he admitted it is silver plated.I did not go into details with him involving AFP and stuff but boy seems like nothing is off limit these days to fake it.

If the seller is stating that it's silver plated, is it really a problem?

    Not being sarcastic, genuinely asking

Everything seems to get ripped off/copied nowadays - as long as they state it I don't think it's a problem. That being said, I have no idea why anyone would actually but it lol

he only stated it when I asked.the problem comes when someone who has no idea what it is, buys it
