European Union to take over Britain’s armed forces regardless of Brexit outcome.

Lord James of Blackheath has told the UK House of Lords that the EU Defence Union will necessitate the takeover of Britain’s military and security services on November 1, regardless of Brexit.
Lord James’ raising of the matter was captured on video and reported by the UK Column alternative news website on September 9.
    https://www.ukcolumn.org/article/hero-brexit-lord-james-blackheath-threatened-over-eu-defence-union
Lord James called on the UK Parliament to confirm or deny the information and make it public.
He says all UK servicemen and women will be required to cancel their current UK oaths and make a new oath of allegiance to Brussels.
According to Facebook poster Simon Bean (apparently ex-British Army) letters confirming this have been received by retired Rear Admiral Sir Roger Lane-Nott and Lieutenant-General Jonathon Peter Riley, CB, DSO a retired British Army officer and military historian.
The essence is that irrespective of the Brexit result on October 31, Europe will take control of all British armed forces and security services from November 1.

Looks like more of the EU trying to make the process complicated. I doubt there would be many English born soldiers prepared to sign up for that.

E.g., German army is allegedly so under-equipped they only have a handful of air-worthy fighter jets, nine of their 44 Leopard 2 tanks are in working order... eleven out of their 14 armoured personnel carriers are currently out of service, and they have ammunition for about one day should SHTF for real... no wonder they'd want to supplement with some quality British forces.

"The German military has been, by nearly all accounts, in a woeful state. In recent years, its helicopters wouldn’t fly, its submarines couldn’t sail and its soldiers have wielded broomsticks in training exercises for lack of guns."
    --
"Last year, the parliamentary defense committee was informed that out of 89 German fighter jets, only 38 were ready for use. The list of damaged items also included helicopters, as well as a variety of weapons.

According to the confidential report that was leaked on Tuesday, the German NATO task force would face serious problems if it had to intervene abroad. More than 40 percent of the task force's soldiers would have to do without P8 pistols, and more than 30 percent lacked general-purpose machine guns, known as MG3. Operating at night would be particularly difficult for Germany's armed task force, given a lack of 76 percent of necessary night viewers."

What a joke. Looks like everyone was depending on the US coming to their rescue again. Shame recent events have shown that US weapons systems are very vulnerable to attack. I can hear Vladmir Putin and Xi Jinping laughing from here.

I read something on this a while back being buried with some other nasties in the May Brexit Deal.

From what I read UK Defence Force is shrinking is both equipment, manpower and thus ability to conduct effective large scale operations. Recruitment and moral are low, thus the globalist pollies in the UK (and the generals who may have sold out) may see a degradation of the UK military as a logical step to fully integrating the UK into the EU not only economically but from a security perspective too.
