Got your attention with that subject title? Sorry it is from 1913: http://www.perthmintbullion.com/blo...Now_Silver_s_Course_Dangerous_To_Predict.aspx (personally I like my subject title better). I was having a look at some old documents in our library and came across "Messrs. Mocatta and Goldsmid's Circular on the Movements of Gold and Silver during 1913" from the British Royal Mint's 1913 Annual Report. Lots of talk about the silver market regarding China, backwardation and the "... huge bull account, which has been such a menace to the market for many years, has now passed into very strong hands..." If only this was a problem today! Also some good advice from Messrs. Mocatta and Goldsmid from 100 years ago: "It is always difficult, if not dangerous, to express any opinion as to the probable course of silver"
