    Hello Stackers
This looked ok in the Ebay listing its hard to see faults in the pics on Ebay at least this seller sent the same coin that was listed :( just another fake to add to the list I guess so now its a claim with Paypal the seller is insisting its a genuine coin .Dead giveaway of course is the vertical reeding instead of diagonal reeding on the edge of coin. The pitfalls of buying Panda coins on Ebay no more Ebay Panda's for me. Just thought I would let other know of the risks involved buying these coins on Ebay.

Dead giveaway would be the panda fur texture, I've got the legit one so maybe it was obvious to me since I've seen the real thing.

Also the mirror background of the temple looks very 'plated-like', not as shiny.

    Bad luck though, :(

Do you mean that it looks like there is no fur? No definition like the real ones?

I tell ya, as a Panda collector and PM stacker in general, you guys are a real Godsend.
Sharing your knowledge so unselfishly and willingly pretty much blows me away.
An honor to be associated with you gents!

The fur looks discolored if that makes any sense. It just looks 'off'.

I know what ya mean. If someone like you has seen a bunch of real ones, then a fake just looks 'off' as you say. I'm learning...slowly, but surely.
I am glad to know about the plastic cases having the three dots and the slanted reeded edges. That makes me a bit more comfortable with the few non-slabbed ones I've purchased
