LOOKS LIKE A FIRESALE FROM EBAY SELLER tombo3310 http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/tombo3310/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3686
There's gonna be a bargain or two for all that $19.99 stuff that ends in just under three days! just to much at once!!
plenty of babyboomers out there clued on, and plenty of business with capital here in SS... no such thing as at spot price on ebay unless seller has negative feedback
i dont see why it is suspicious for someone to sell lots of stuff... can only imagine what you may think if i had 1/2 of my opal up for sale i reckon you will be alright with the seller... check out the users that bought off him/her, some impressive buyers giving positive feedback
I count over 700 ounces of gold alone listed From a seller that does not allow local pick up This is the ebay sale you have just before skipping the country PASS.
I was in "the Ridge" over the easter weekend. Seems to me that opal will fetch more than a buck! I'm guessing you're another one of those "struggling" opal miners?
That's the beauty of using Paypal buyer protection. Has only recently changed listing description to add: Paypal orders may be held for up to a week before processing to allow funds to clear in our bank account I just rang the seller and he has confirmed that he is the seller and selling all that gold!
and no pickup as you observed - suss after all... yep fk that however, maggie also doesnt do pickup and heshe is one of many around aussie paranoia is probably the reason behind no local pickup (i.e. afraid of being robbed). im both a 'struggling' unemployed hick and over invested sucker in opal... not a 'struggling' miner got to do something with your time, and moving 10x10x10cm of earth every now n then is fun, as is posting in SS now back on topic .
If I was selling 700 ozs of GOLD (I wish), I wouldn't be selling it on ebay full stop. His feedback shows only one high value sale ever - he's mostly been selling iphones ...and if you check out the feedback of that buyer, they've been selling iphones as well - obvious shill purchase Now he lists over 100 items at the same time, with total value of more than $1 million.... But if you reckon there might be a bargain to be had, go ahead.
If it is indeed a scammer thats going to be a nightmare for paypal. Because all of the auctions end around the same time it will mean he will get paid around the same time. Thus enabling him to withdraw the lot at once never to be seen again.
you would surely have to pay through pay pal. I would be very hesitant to bank transfer the money. seriously tempting though.
Maybe it is footy card selling his gold to buy those pyramid silver bars. Or Mokbel selling to pay legal fees. I was looking for Greek wig listing. Interesting that the most expensive item the seller has transected was bought by someone that most recently bought credit card embossing machine. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251016476753#ht_632wt_933 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260955992933#ht_4783wt_1141
