Ebay is great for picking up small items but this is just silly. If somebody has a 50oz gold bar to sell, why would they list it on ebay starting at 10% below spot ? - and also pay the ebay fees ? Anybody who owns such a bar would definitely know where they could sell it for very close to spot. If you did win it you'd either be sending somebody you don't know $70k and hoping you get the bar in the mail, or turning up to a F2F meeting with $70k cash in your pocket. I'd be too sh*t scared to do either of those things. My call is it's either stolen, fake or there is no actual bar at all.
Not necessarily a bargain, but an interesting listing nonetheless. 130690451751 10 x 1oz "Government guaranteed" coins, with a "mint of under 500,000". But won't say what the coins are. Kooks, anyone? Also, check out the recent negative feedback. Yikes!
50% spot....... if you believe it. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
www.ebay.com.au/itm/170832281439 Not too bad? I say But I have never seen a 2 oz bar from Ainslie before, new or old? Has anyone here seen one before? Cheers Lunty
Here's a cheap redback, Macquarie Mint issue, so you don't get the original Perth Mint packaging, but seems pretty cheap. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RED-BACK...330729769736?pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item4d0107cb08
