I managed to order a typeset online, and received a confirmation email from PM afterwards. This is before roughly 1.5 hrs of repeating error pages.
Fishball you are right about the Oranutang. That will take some time before selling out ( even longer if they can't upload it to the website)and dragons are definitely the brain fill material for today. I just had a lightbulb moment and thought to ask about it. Wanted to make sure I could get max out of postage costs, especially when online order is free postage over $300 (if you could have got on there). Must admit postage is very good though, only $8.50 my order.
Typeset is definitely gone. I had it in my cart since early this morning and finally made it to the order confirmation step. Can't confirm order as 1 typeset exceeds my allocation.
Yeah I couldn't recall what they had for sale. I was hiding in a conference room with my mobile phone and nothing else, had my CC details and account details all memorized that was it lol. Oh well, they'll have it later on the website I'll buy $300 for free postage
same story as others here. i had the typeset in my basket at about 8:30am oz time and then the website went bonkers. through reloading pages i managed to get 2 in my basket. i managed to get through to PM after 15 mins and they said it was sold out. they just gave me the usual crap excuses - a lot of people using the website, blah blah. she then said i could order the gilded and colour with her. she said about 45$ shipping i said its free for orders over 300 isn't it? she said only on the website. I SAID NOBODY CAN GET ON YOUR CRAPPY WEBSITE!!! supervisor sorted out free shipping but no bloody typeset. for those wondering about allocation numbers on website - if you type a huge number into any product (e.g. 1000) it will automatically say they dont have enough stock and then reveal the exact number left in stock... i should have done this with the typeset but was just at that point desperate to get one!! its still in my basket now but i've been at the billing/address/payment stage for 2 hours now so no hope of proceeding...
yeah I had a typeset lodged in my basket but couldn't get it through any further. Finall got phone prder done. As soon as i could get something happening on line I emptied the basket so that there hopefully won't be any hiccups with phone order. I was worried that if there was 1 sitting in basket when they tried to process the phone order the system would say DOH, you can't order that many and cancel the lot. I hear that sort of thing was happening last time with the silver proof release
Nah I don't think its connected. I had an order process right to last stage. Then my phone call went through. It didn't seem to effect the phone order.
Same here. I had 2 typesets in the cart when my call went through and I ordered a typeset. I think their systems are seperate.

I will be interested to hear from any members what they think of the 1kg gemstone coin when deliveries take place. I didn't buy one (far over my budget) but on the PM website they look kinda orange. Maybe they are orange or just the photos but I like the look of the red in the 1oz better.
what a load of crap, now on it states on the website for the typeset: "Sold out on the website. Limited stocks may be available for sale over the phone. Please call 1800 098 817." i just called them (again) and of course there isn't any.
I saw that number on the website and called them about 2 hours ago & managed to order one of the typeset Also posted it on the other thread.
Pretty annoyed at missing out on the typeset. Got one coloured and two gilded. Thank goodness they allowed up to 5 gilded as I'm building two guilded sets (one for me and one for my Dad) as well as one bullion set. I've got my hand up for a bullion dragon if they're out and anyone is willing to let it go
