They were pre-selling the 1oz silver (and presumably gold as well, I didn't look), so if their allocation is less than hoped for, then I'd say they have none available to list...

    ;) :)

Rang up a few German dealers asking about 2012 1oz dragons, the general response was 'no chance' - enquiries for 7 million of them (previously had heard 2 million).

Grabbed some half ounce from bullionbourse.

Looks like it has just had a big fright - legs flailing about in different directions!

re the gold dragon, all the dragons i've come in contact with are a little thicker. This one must have come from a region in famine.

Hey, the GFC affects dragons too, no exceptions :p

Must say, I'm really disappointed with this years design of the dragons, kangaroo, kook, koala.

    1. Gold dragon: under weight, look like snake
    2. Silver dragon: mirror image of 2000 dragon
    3. Kook: Nice design, but it looks blind
    4. Gold kangaroo: the perspective look wrong
    5. Koala: add a few flies using photoshop and you'll have a dead koala.
    6. Ram kangaroo: over weight.

Yea looks like road kill, didn't think the could do worse than last years bunny's. I don't think I'd even pay spot for the gold dragons.

That's what we get for bashing the COUGAR!! ;) :p

I guess most mints around the world know 2012 is the end of the world, so they didn't give a sh*t about designing nice stuff.

hee hee, i reckon it was designed better than i could have drawn it but yep, i don't mind the silver version.
NQDave, you can use my money when paying spot for the gold dragon, i don't mind. Just tell me what postage to my place would cost.

Silver dragon demand = remained strong
Gold Dragon demand = decreasing due to fugly design
