I'll be picking my coloured 2oz Dragons up in the coming weeks for about $120 each by the looks of it. You dont get the box and a paper CoA but if the boxed ANDA coins are worth $600 and the coin on its own sells for $120, is the box and paper worth $480 ?!?!

well it appears at least someone thinks the box and paper (and the number on the paper) are worth a lot ... check out this auction on eBay 260971310404

... not that I agree with the crazy values ... just saying there are people out there that seem to

There's often a spike in the frenzy of a new release. Come back in 6 months and lets see then what these coins are fetching.

Over $500 is steep. With only a mintage of 1000 would this be the "key" 2012 dragon coin?

I purchased a few of the 2010 ANDA Tigers for about $80ea and sold them during November and December on feebay for $500-$600ea. I think if you are buying these ANDA tigers and Dragons at this $600 level dont expect to make a profit anytime soon. It will be hard to move any at $1,000ea which is the price you'd want to make the effort/risk worth your while.

    It's the 1 coin I'm not touching
This week I've bought a few Dragons
    4 coin type set from AEL ( not in a box set ,just 1/2oz + 1oz + 2oz & 5oz ) $400
    2 x 1/2 oz from Goldstackers & a 10oz
Berlin coin show from a member here $140
And a high relief for $130 from fleebay
I missed out on a NON color proof that went for $220 something

I needed a few more to keep the slabbed Dragon company ( yes I bought 2 originally & flipped one on fleebay :D )

My brother was in Burswood at the time, on the 1st day.
Called him from Malaysia and told him about it.
He managed to aquire 3 nos., 2 for me and 1 for himself,
as the bloke in front only wanted 1.

Now there are two ANDA dragons coming to Malaysia soon! :)

i managed to buy the tiger something ago from fleabay at $199.

i have the dog, cockerel, rabbit, tiger and dragon presently.

i am wondering whether the mint issued any for the year of the rat and ox?

    Anyone?

    Hi,
When they are for sale at the shows they have them a little cheaper, this year the dragons were $172 at the show and if they ever got to the website they would have been $180, so you save a massive $8 plus parking $10 plus 1 day show entrance fee $10!

By the end of the Lunar Tiger year that would have been the price as silver rose during the year. But when they were released, in the $80's.
