With the change from AEDT to AEST in Australia, you might want to check your daylight savings settings. This is on a per-user basis. If you go to Profile, there is a checkbox option half way down the screen marked "Daylight Savings Time is in effect (advance time by 1 hour).". This should now be BLANK - if it's checked, the times on the forum will all be out by an hour if you're in a region that just went off daylight savings.
Daylight savings! Of course! I was wondering why the thing that usually happens as I wake up happened this morning on the way to work....
Reminder - for those members in states with DST in effect, jump into your profile and CHECK the daylight savings box.
I wish I could join in. I HATE the sun coming up at 0430! One of the arguments against it was that the milk will go sour if we change the clocks, not to burst your 15th century understanding of the universe, but we allocate measurements to time and to my best understanding cows can not read clocks!
We west Australian said no a decade ago three consecutive times but some idiots brought it back The answer is still NO. I dont know about Eastern states. I still confuse with time. So far the best person is VRS with his auction all time stated in his auction; well done mate. So We have good example. Hope the rest will follow. Thanks. Dont forget pm or no pm bid too. I guess majority hates it too; so please states it to your post too. Thank for the reminder guys.
Time of the year again... time to CHECK the DST box in your profile if you live somewhere it is in effect.
Time of the year again... time to UNCHECK the DST box in your profile if you live somewhere it is in effect.
